The Evolution of a Logo
Huntress was founded to be a force for good: to wreck hackers and bring enterprise-grade cybersecurity to ALL businesses. Our co-founders intentionally chose a female name and visual for the company to counter cybersecurity’s hyper-masculine image: one of many ways Huntress pushed back on industry norms from the very beginning.
The mission’s the same, but as we’ve grown, so has our logo. From the OG yellow to our signature teal, our logo story has evolved alongside the company. There’s some truly epic lore behind it all (co-founder and CEO Kyle Hanslovan called a partner’s mom to get her opinion on the logo’s eyelashes), and Huntress has always been the “approachable badass,” turning customers and partners into the real heroes, and our logo is a manifestation of the everyday heroism in finding and shutting down cyberattacks.
Huntress has evolved. But her eyelashes—and her undeniable swagger—were always there.
